Attendance Policy

Attendance Notice 

 

Regular school attendance is essential for your child's academic success. Students are expected to attend school every day and to arrive on time. Attendance plays a critical role in student achievement, and we are counting on your support to ensure your child is present and ready to learn each day.

As a reminder:

  • Absences Require Documentation:  All absences including lawful ones must be documented with a handwritten note or a doctor’s note.
  • Deadline for Submitting Excuses: If your child is absent, an excuse note must be submitted to the school within three (3) days of the student’s return. Excuses will not be accepted after the 3-day window.
     

What to Include in an Excuse Note:

  • Student’s first and last name
     
  • Date(s) of absence
     
  • Reason for absence
     
  • Printed name and signature of the parent/guardian
     

 All notes must be turned in to the front office.

🚨 Important: Excessive absences whether excused or unexcused can lead to truancy and may require school-level interventions and follow-up. We appreciate your partnership in supporting daily attendance and student success. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
