Principals Message
Happy New Year and welcome to Semester 2, Quarter 3!
As we begin 2026, we do so with renewed energy, clarity, and commitment to the important work taking place at Liberty Hill Academy.
The start of a new year is a natural time to reset, refocus, and recommit—and that is exactly what we are doing as we continue to strengthen our ReIMAGINE process. Liberty Hill exists to provide scholars with a pathway forward—one rooted in accountability, restoration, academic growth, and personal development. Every day, our work is centered on ensuring that scholars leave our campus better prepared to succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally.
As part of this commitment, we have expanded our support services to better meet the needs of our scholars. Liberty Hill Academy now includes the support of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). This expanded team allows us to provide more intentional, individualized, and research-based behavioral supports—particularly for scholars in our Day Treatment Community. These supports focus on skill-building, emotional regulation, positive behavior development, and increasing scholars’ ability to successfully transition and thrive in school settings.
Academically, all teachers are focused on creating meaningful learning opportunities using the prescribed curriculum to ensure consistency, rigor, and access to grade-level standards for every scholar. Instruction is intentional, engaging, and aligned, while also allowing for differentiation and targeted supports.
Scholars who are placed at Liberty Hill Academy as an alternative to expulsion will experience a structured, supportive, and restorative learning environment. They will be held to clear expectations, provided with consistent routines, and supported through intentional academic instruction and behavioral interventions designed to promote growth, accountability, and successful reintegration. Liberty Hill is not a place to repeat past behaviors—it is a place to learn, reflect, reset, and reimagine a better path forward.
We remain deeply committed to supporting all of our scholars, and this alignment of academic, behavioral, and restorative supports strengthens our ability to meet students where they are while helping them grow toward long-term success. Progress takes time, consistency, and collaboration—and we are seeing the impact of this shared work.
Partnership remains essential to our success. We are grateful for the continued collaboration with parents, guardians, and home schools as we work together to create better outcomes for every scholar we serve. When schools and families are aligned, scholars are empowered to reimagine what is possible for their future.
As we move through Quarter 3, our focus remains clear:
-
High expectations paired with high support
-
Restorative practices rooted in accountability
-
Strong instruction aligned to the prescribed curriculum
-
A culture of growth, respect, and opportunity
Thank you for your continued trust in Liberty Hill Academy and for being a vital part of our ReIMAGINE journey. Together, we will continue to push forward—supporting, challenging, and uplifting our scholars every step of the way.
Here’s to a strong and successful start to 2026!
Let’s fly, Eagles!
